We are super excited to announce that we'll be celebrating Maharashtra Day / Mumbai Food Festival with lots of enthusiasm on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, in Oslo. It's a great chance to show our love for Marathi culture and traditions.
Get ready to enjoy Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's palanquin swaying to the beats of Dhol and Lezim. This event will give you an amazing glimpse into our rich culture of Maharashtra.
We encourage everyone, young and old, to wear traditional Maharashtrian outfits and join us in the celebration.
This event is free for all, so feel free to invite your friends and colleagues, too!

Event Schedule:
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Ch. Shivaji Maharaj's palanquin procession with dhol drums
12:00 PM to 12:30 PM: Lamp lighting and speech by our Chief Guest
12:30 PM to 2:30 PM: Lunch - Various food stalls, Games & other surprising stalls (Details will be given soon)
2:30 PM to 3:00 PM: Cleaning and wrap-up
Vendors should contact MMN to arrange setting up their own stall.
