MLK Jr. Day Luncheon Service

BPOU is looking for eight volunteers to help out with the luncheon service at the Women's Resource Center. Besides registering on this Eventbrite site, please also register to volunteer on the Volunteers of America website using our steps below.

REGISTRATION STEPS:

2. Create an account
3. Log in
4. Select Monday, January 20th 12:30pm -2:30pm "sign up individually"[Lunch at Women's Resource Center]
5. Select check box Monday, January 20th 12:30pm -2:30pm under "Opportunity shifts"
6. Fill in name and phone number
7. Click Submit Opportunity response
8. Sign waiver
9. Since there are limited slots, be sure you received a confirmation email with the following information:

DETAILS ABOUT SERVING AT WRC

Volunteer time will be 12:30pm - 2:30pm

• Please arrive on time to ensure we are able to serve meals on time
• Meal Prep includes any tasks related to preparing the meal for service.
• Serving is meal-line style, with volunteers placing entrées on clients’ plates.
• Cleanup includes sanitizing countertops and prep stations, emptying garbage and recycling, sweeping and mopping.
• Organizational tasks in the kitchen and client pantry include unloading, unboxing and replenishing shelves.
