Hi Baton Rouge!
Let's get together on MLK Jr. Day at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to pack tens of thousands of meals for our neighbors in need!
Join friends from Louisiana Blue, Entergy, and the community for a crazy fun Feed the Funnel party led by The Pack Shack. We're going to pack a delicious, heathy Louisiana Style Red Beans & Rice meal.
No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to lend a hand. Let's join hands to make a difference in our community and honor Dr. King's commitment to service. As Dr. King remarked, "The time is always right to do what is right."
Guidelines
WHO CAN HELP?
Ages 6+ are welcome! Each child under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For food safety purposes, all participants must wear close-toed shoes and shirts with short or long sleeves (no tanks, please).
WHAT ABOUT JEWELRY?
All jewelry should be removed before arriving, with the exception of wedding bands.
