The Durham Museum is proud to offer free admission to the community on Monday, January 20, 10AM-4PM, to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Join the museum as we highlight MLK’s legacy and message of peace, tolerance, community service, and an inclusive, hopeful future for all.
In addition to the museum’s permanent exhibitions, guests will enjoy special performances, an archival spotlight on Omaha's civil rights history, a scavenger hunt inspired by MLK's legacy, trivia and a screening of Dr. King's speech, as well as thoughtful presentations from local community partners.

• A reading of "Your Bridge to History" by Preston Love, Jr. at noon
• Live performance by Nelson Mandela Elementary Choir at 12:30PM
• Hands-on creative activity with the Joslyn Art Museum
• Learn more from the Great Plains Black History Museum and the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation
