3.05 - Lyndsay Wills & the No Frills Band: Lyndsay Wills and the No Frills String Band are a Vancouver based old-time band made up of Mike Gix on fiddle, Kate Semple on mandolin and banjo and Lyndsay Wills on vocals and guitar. Playing old-time fiddle tunes that are sometimes tagged onto Lyndsay’s original songs, they are frequently found at the local farmer’s markets, rain or shine. Playing at the odd coffee house gig or private functions keeps them happy and gets everyone’s toes tapping.
