Led by an expert mixologist, The Sipping Bird, this interactive class will explore the rich history and modern twists of punch-style cocktails. You'll learn how to balance bold flavors, select the right spirits, and garnish like a pro.
Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or a complete beginner, this class will equip you with the skills and recipes to impress at your next gathering. 'Tis the season of hosting Friendsgivings, Thanksgivings, and holiday feasts, so learn a few tips and tricks before you host your next party!

Meet Qyu, Your Spirit Guide (Literally)
A self-taught mixologist with a knack for shaking, stirring, and storytelling, Qyu has been known to turn even the simplest pour into a performance. Passionate about the history and tales behind every cocktail, they love to meddle with flavors—crafting their own syrups, fat-washing spirits, and experimenting until each sip sings. When they’re not creating custom cocktails for private soirées or bustling events with the 50/Fifty Restaurant Group, you can find them mixing magic at the historic Colvin House—where the drinks are as colorful as the stories. Equal parts educator and entertainer, they’ll have you laughing between sips, learning tips you’ll actually use, and leaving with a drink in your hand and a little swagger in your step.

Parking Info:
The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary School, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff, who will provide further instruction.
We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.
Those valet rates are as follows:
· 1 Hour: $6
· 2 Hours: $10
· 3 Hours: $11
· 4 Hours: $13
We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
