Indulge your Inner Artist with a creative afternoon in good company!
We will eplore a variety of mixed-media techniques, including under drawing, layering, and icorporating collage.
Be inspired by the materials, intuitively chosen colour and playful textures.
Whether your theme is botanicals, imagined landscapes or completely abstract explosions of joy, the overall aim of the session is your enjoyment of the process!
The focus is on creative curiosity, experimenting and "doing it" in good company, rather that making a masterpiece.
Unlike events like "paint and sip" or "instant masterpiece" you are encouraged to evolve your own unique style and creation.
No pressure, just a warm welcome in a relaxed and non judgmental group and lots of inspiration.
Whether you're a beginner or just looking for a creative boost, this course is all about enjoying the process and expressing yourself!
Materials are provided. You will receive thick watercolour paper and a canvas board specifically designed for this type of artwork. Acrylic paints, charcoal, graphite pencils, oil pastels and collage material are supplied. You are of course welcome to bring along your preferred supplies if desired!
ThIs event will be held in the beautiful dedicated workshop studio upstairs at the historic Fisherton MIll Gallery, Cafe and Studios. Workshop participants can benefit from a generous 20% discount on lunches from the cafe. Please ask for a voucher.
Tickets are non refundable and not transferrable. Ticket price includes materials as well as Eventbrite fees and taxes.
Please note this event has a minimum number of participants to run. If this is not reached, I may choose to cancel the event and refund your ticket.
HeArtfull Art for Enjoyment events are hosted by Tamsin Loveday, a professional artist with a community focus and 20 years experience in leading creaive workshops.
Tamsin's mission is to help people reconnect with their inner creative spark. Her specialities are paper, print and book arts, and working with people in the creative health and arts and heritage sectors.
Tamsin says "make art by any means necessary!"
Tamsin is a trained Mental Health FIrst Aider.
