Mixed Media Collage

Suitable for beginners, this is an opportunity for fun, experimentation to develop ideas in mixed media and collage.

Programme:

Creating a mixed media collage from a variety of materials and techniques such as drawing, painting, layering textures and images.

During the workshop we’ll develop and experiment with a variety of mixed media techniques to create your own artwork to take home.

We'll manipulate images and materials in fun and exciting ways and experiment with paint, collage and decorative techniques to achieve great results!

We’ll create and incorporate background collage papers with magazine images, explore interesting patterns and texture, the use of stencils and handmade stamps and add eclectic finishing touches with doodles, line work and marks.

Materials you must bring:

• multiple sheets of A4 300 gsm watercolour paper
• lighter weight paper to experiment and use as collage
• A set of acrylic paints
• watercolour set
• pens
• pencils
• glue stick

Yout tutor will also have some materials to experiment with.

Cancellations / Refunds

Once you have made your course booking your are committed to it. This is because our courses have very small student numbers, and often sell-out and are unavailable to others. Therefore any cancellations may result in a place not being filled, or a course not being able to run.

Cancellations are permitted up to 30 days before the start of a course, and a full refund will be issued. Refunds will not be made for cancellations less than 30 days before the start of a course. If you are unable to attend due to illness, personal or professional commitments you do not have the right to a refund.

If you wish to cancel your place on a course that has not yet started and you have a friend or colleague who can take your place we can accommodate this substitution.

If we are unable to deliver a course due to low bookings, tutor illness or venue unavailability we will process the dot-art amount of the course tickets. Please note the booking fee is non-refundable as this charge does not go to the organiser. Or you can pay in person with cash, card or cheque in dot-art Gallery, Queen Avenue, Liverpool.
