Midsummer is a perfect time to check in with yourself and clarify the intentions you want to carry through the second half of the year. Join me on Friday, July 31st at Above Average Wellness for a hands-on creative session where we will build a set of eight personalised affirmation cards.These cards are practical tools designed to act as daily anchors for your mindset and habit change. Using simple mixed media techniques like acrylic paint, stencils, stamps, and collage, we will create cards that reflect exactly what you are building and strengthening right now.
We will focus on writing affirmations that are specific and believable so they truly land in your body and mind. We will also explore simple ways to use your cards as anchors in your daily life, whether that is in your morning routine, through journaling, or as a visual reminder on your desk.
This workshop is focused on meaning and the creative process rather than perfection. No previous art experience is needed to participate. Everything you need is provided, including paint, collage materials, stamps, stencils, phrases, and card stock.
Feel free to bring a pen and paper if you want to take notes. There is plenty of time for detail work, so you can move at a pace that feels right for you.
