About this Event
Class Description:
In this magical, sensory-filled experience for kids ages 5–12, little potion apprentices will mix, pour, and fizz their way through a world of color, sparkle, and imagination while secretly learning a bit of science along the way.
Guided step-by-step, they’ll explore enchanting ingredients like “Bottled Sunshine” and “Fairy Dust”, watch bubbling reactions come to life, and discover how simple chemistry can feel like pure magic.
Each child will also get to create their own take-home potion, layering colors and glitter to create a one-of-a-kind elixir. This workshop is equal parts creative play, science experiment, and unforgettable fun.
About the Instructor:
Meg started Magic Moments by Meg initially as a creative outlet from Meg's full-time job as a gender equity and social inclusion specialist in the international development world and as a way to provide magical and screen-free independent play opportunities for her daughter. She creates unique potion kits, play dough kits, and sensory kits for kids of all ages.
With a background in disability inclusion, and as a neurodivergent individual herself, Meg thoughtfully designs her products and experiences to be inclusive and accessible for all children (and adults, too!), creating play that promotes regulation and celebrates imagination, connection, and joy.
