About this Event
Meet your performers:
Mitchell Hancock is a guitarist & songwriter from Duluth, MN. Steeped in a deep tradition of folk music, Hancock (who performs as Mitchell Kane) performs original compositions on his flattop guitar about trains and places he loves and old tunes made famous by guitar luminaries like Tony Rice and Doc Watson. His original compositions utilize all of the styles that have influenced him including bluegrass, gospel, jazz, punk, and blues. These songs tell stories of longing for acceptance and finding meaning in a found community.
Jacob King Downs is a Duluth raised musician that blends folk, blues, country, and rock to entertain audiences with original compositions and exemplary guitar work. You might catch him around town playing with his band Mud Puppies.
