We need your energy to inspire lives and offer hope. On September 22nd, 2024 from 1-4pm, at Lake Aquitaine Park, we are presenting the 9th Annual Mississauga Walk N' Roll 4 Mito! Walk N' Roll founder, Louise Gibson and her sister, Rita, lived with mitochondrial disease their entire lives. It took Rita’s life seven years ago. Each year, Louise summons all of her strength and courage to go the distance to inspire others and raise funds for MitoCanada. Join Louise and those around the country to walk, run, cycle or roll during World Mitochondrial Disease Week (September 16 - 22, 2024)
Funds raised during Walk N' Roll for Mito help us reach that goal by supporting education, awareness and critical research to prevent and treat mitochondrial disease while protecting and supporting mitochondrial health.
Together we are Energizing Lives.
Registration Fee: Adults - $5, Minors (Under 17 years old) - Free with an adult registration
This year’s in-person event will feature an online auction, participant prizes, balloon animals, and face-painting while bringing families and the Mississauga community together to raise funds and awareness for mitochondrial disease.
