Come join Mission City Swing January 25-26, 2025 at The Polish Club in San Francisco for an incredible workshop weekend with Ben and Cameo McHenry! 🎉Ben and Cameo (BAMEO) travel all over the United States, and all over the world including countries such as France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, England, Ireland, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Finland, Scotland, with many more on the horizon. Together, they have made 8 US Open Classic Division finals and placed in the top 5 in multiple NASDE Classic Divisions including the Open Swing Dance Championships. They are known for focusing on many of the most complicated concepts in WCS, and finding ways to simplify them, making them easier to understand and apply. Whether they are teaching, running events (Swingtacular & Capital Swing!), performing, or just social dancing, their goal is to spread their love and passion for WCS to dancers all over the world, and they look forward to many of years of doing just that.

BAMEO will be teaching 6 hours of leveled workshops, plus an additional 1.5 hours of teacher training for Advanced/All-Star dancers interested in growing their West Coast Swing teaching skills. We’ll have a practice session after the first workshops on Saturday afternoon and a social dance party & Capital Swing JnJ Sunday evening after everything! The full schedule is linked below.

Levels:

- Beginner Bootcamp: Open to all levels as well as first-time dancers.
- All-Levels: Open to anyone comfortable with basic WCS patterns.
- Level 2/3: Should know the basics of the dance but needs help refining basic techniques and movement.
- Level 3/4: Should be confident with basic techniques and is looking for more variations and ways to express movement to music.
- Adv/All-Star: Requires valid WSDC points in Advanced or All-Star divisions.
