Get ready for a night of hot jazz, swinging blues, and pure St. Louis energy as Miss Jubilee (aka Valerie Kirchhoff) takes the stage at The Focal Point! Known for her joyful and high-spirited performances, Miss Jubilee brings the music of the 1920s and ’30s roaring back to life — from blues to hokum to early jazz — all inspired by the great female blues singers and the deep musical roots of St. Louis.
She’ll be joined by her stellar band featuring pianist Ethan Leinwand, multi-instrumentalist T. J. Müller, and a lineup of world-class players — plus surprise guest musicians including: Andy Schumm - Horns (Chicago), ‘Twerk’ Thomson - Bass (New Orleans), and Hal Smith - Percussion (Arkansas).
