Miss Christine (The Bittersweet Tour) with support from PBAJ and Christi Swing
This fall, Miss Christine embarks on The Bittersweet Tour in support of their second album, “Bittersweet,” created with support from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts. In the face of rapidly evaporating funding for these programs and a nationwide trend toward the criminalization of queerness, Miss Christine decided a tour was one the most essential and radical things they could do to push back—to be unapologetically yourself is an act of resistance and Miss Christine performances empower their audience to love and accept themselves unconditionally. Local Shoegaze rockers, PBAJ, and songwielding siren, Christi Swing, open the night.
