Rapper/MC Miss Angel has a sharp pen, bins of charisma and style for ten. The Antwerp native has been surrounded by hip-hop since her childhood on Linkeroever, but her real musical journey began in 2018. She penned her first songs that year, found her voice and entered the studio with beatmaker friends to turn her ideas into music. Collabs followed in the years that followed: Miss dove into the studio with Selah Sue, Pregnant Guy, Blu Samu, Martha Da'Ro, KRANKk, Le Motel, Commander Spoon, ... The Belgian film and TV world also knocked on the door (BINTI, Roomies).
Fast forward to today. Miss Angel is one of our country's leading female rappers/MCs and all set for the big time with her upcoming debut album MISS'UNDERSTOOD.
On her first EPs, Miss left her private life out of the spotlight, now she turns the spotlight towards herself. MISS'UNDERSTOOD is a personal story that gives insight into Miss Angel's world: who she is, what she stands for and what she wants out of life. Her full self, including flaws. The beautiful and the ugly. The angry side and the vulnerable side. The bubbly side and the sexy side. Unscrupulous and above all: with all misconceptions off the track. Musically, you can expect a mix of known and new influences. Hard hitters, but also heartbreakers.
