Misner & Smith have been playing and touring for the last 20 years. Locals may remember them starting out together in Nevada City/Grass Valley back in 2004, while working on a play about Woody Guthrie produced by the Foothill Theater Company while in residence at the Nevada Theater. Since then, M&S put out five albums, toured the country and overseas, and just released their new album "All is Song" in April! From Will Schube:
"Northern California-based unclassifiable duo Misner & Smith have been sitting with iterations of their new album All is Song for six years. The group—consisting of Sam Misner and Megan Smith—began conceiving of the project in 2017, and writing came in fits and starts from that time until the pandemic slowed all activities to a halt. This unforeseen pause carried an unexpected gift amongst the chaos and tragedy of the era; Misner & Smith had time to pause, breathe, and reflect on these songs. They had time to digest them, perform them, and work on them in a way they had never imagined possible. The music went through an incubation period, and as such, is the most acutely powerful and transformative music of Misner & Smith’s career. The album title comes to life, and after listening to All is Song you can’t help but hear this philosophy everywhere: walking down the street, overhearing conversations, listening to the refrigerator grumble. The beauty of Misner & Smith is in the way they transform all moments—the mundane and spectacular alike—into breathtakingly beautiful music."
Wild Eye happily presents the visual, handcrafted tunes of Misner and Smith for a summer creekside musical reunion, with an evening of fine music, dining and beverages.

About Wild Eye Pub:
A family-friendly event venue with a restaurant and bar. Our farm-to-table menu is from local & organic sources, and a full bar with regional brews, wines & spirits, with nightly entertainment in a comfy 'supper club' style with an easy vibe.
*Reservations are appreciated! This helps us set up nightly creekside service for everyone. You can easily make reservations - just seats, or a table for dining - while buying your ticket! Your table will be ready, with your name on it.
For this event, seating and service starts 90 min ahead. Table service of food and drinks is (quietly) offered before and during the event.
We don't 'turn over tables' to serve more diners; you can keep your table for the whole event. So, a sliding ticket fee for most shows helps us to better pay and feed the performers. Thank you for supporting live artists!
This event is on our shady, creekside stage. The creek breeze cools off in the evening: layers are suggested, and we have fresh blankets to share.
PARKING: Pub has free parking. More parking is at corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from the Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it!
