About this Event
On Monday, May 18th we are delighted to have UL student, Zoe Dunworth, speaking to us about a feminist and interactive game she developed called Misneach na mBan (Courage of Women). The purpose of the game is to foster empathy and engagement with female perspectives in Irish Folklore
The game combines puzzles, choices, and a feminist retelling that centers on the MorrĂgan, Deirdre, and Queen Medb from Irish folklore. Whether you know the myths well or not at all, the game invites you into a fresh take on legendary stories.
The event will include a talk from Zoe on the background of the project as well as a demonstration of the game and a chance to play it yourself!
This free event takes place on Monday, May 18th from 6pm - 7pm in our premises on 28 John Street. Places are limited and booking is essential.
