Coastal Carolina University's Department of Music presents:MISCAST
CCU’s Spring Opera Workshop class presents Miscast, a creative and entertaining twist on traditional opera and musical theatre. CCU students perform songs and scenes from roles they typically would not be cast in because of individual voice type, gender, age, or character type. Miscast challenges performers to explore new artistic territory, showcasing their versatility and imagination while offering audiences a fresh and often humorous take on familiar repertoire. Directed by D. Scott Ferguson, teaching associate in the Department of Music.
