Live your 90's disco ball fantasy with this mirrored mosaic sculpture workshop!You will learn the basics of mosaic work, as well as creating a mosaic on a three-dimensional surface. Participants will go home with a gorgeous flashy sculpture! This workshop does not require any previous experience with mosaic work and will be a fun and relaxed opportunity to ease into the world of mosaic work.
All the mosaic tiles will be sourced from old mirrors and CDs donated to ACR! Additionally, the sculptures will be things like ceramic figurines, Styrofoam forms and plastic objects. Participants are welcome to bring their sculpture base from home, but all materials (including sculpures bases) will be provided.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only (yes, adults, too!). Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their minor off with the workshop instructor. Drop off begins 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and everyone must be picked up at the scheduled end of the workshop.

About the Instructor
Bradford is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for the weird, wacky, and macabre. Specializing in mixed media work, Bradford loves to explore new materials and techniques to achieve a unique final product. Bradford has a BFA from the University of Oklahoma and has previously taught at ZACH Theatre and the Michaels Company. "Art cannot be created in a vacuum." So let's get together and make something amazing!
