Join us at Mirren Park School for our Parent Information Open Day. We warmly invite parents and carers to attend this wonderful opportunity to explore our school community and discover what makes Mirren Park such a positive and supportive place to learn.
During your visit, you will enjoy a guided tour of the school and have the chance to meet our dedicated staff team. There will also be a display of pupils’ work, showcasing achievements across the curriculum and highlighting the many successes within our school.
Parents and carers are also invited to attend a special Parent Information Session led by Iain Nisbet, an experienced Education Law Consultant.
Iain has extensive experience advising and representing children, young people, and families in cases involving additional support needs and disabilities. During this session, he will explain parents’ rights within Scottish education law and answer common questions about support in schools.
This informative talk will help parents better understand the support their child is entitled to and how to work collaboratively with schools to ensure those needs are met.
