Please join us for drinks and nibbles to enjoy the art and celebrate Miriam. This is a pop-up art exhibition that Miriam has staged many times before and for this event Miriam will have approximately 50 art works from home for sale at the museum for 'one night only'. (Part of the proceeds for the sale of art are being gift to the museum)
Dr Miriam Saphira, CNZM, lesbian icon and a founder of the museum, has announced her retirement from the Charlotte Museum Board of Trustees. The museum will be hosting Miriam on Friday 26 April from 5pm to celebrate and acknowledge her.
It is difficult to adequately acknowledge or even quantify what Miriam has done as a founder of the museum, who for many years was the museum. And this significant legacy Miriam has created will continue to inspire and endure for generations.
Dress code – Purple, any way you like to wear it!
