Following the debut of his solo project in late 2024, Mircha returns to the BUg with an updated setlist and an expanded lineup, featuring Emma Hales on cello & backing vocals, Peta Wilson on keys, and Kym Ambrose on drums. The quartet will perform a selection of songs from the forthcoming studio album, ‘Open Letters’, which will be released in November 2025. Their first live appearance together will also mark the launch of the new single, ‘Fly Away’.
The set will feature entirely original new music, reminiscent of classic folk ballads and raw acoustic blues, with a vintage jazzy vibe. The material is a mixture of compelling storytelling, vivid imagery and personal memories, channeled by direct yet powerful lyrics with a subtle European flavour.
