MINT is a new Music Industry Networking event that happens the first Thursday of each month.
Our goal is to connect music industry professionals including but not limited to musicians, producers, funders, vocalists, marketing and PR professionals etc. We have found that it is hard to break into the current music industry culture and that there is not enough support for South African musicians at large or respect for those behind the scenes. Therefore, we would like to find ways to create our own opportunities and work and also provide work to others that are overlooked even though their excellence speaks volumes.
Date: Our Second event, 4th July 2024
Venue: Gotcha Pizzeria and Garden on 4th, Linden
Time: 6pm until 9pm

Producer, Record Label A&R, Musician and Chief Coffee Maker, MATTHEW FINK.
(also ex musician in Jim Neversink, The Awakening & The Black Hotels).
Topic: What the production of a record entails and what artists need to know about making a great record?
Our schedule:
6pm - Meet and greet and open play
7pm - Matthew Fink
8pm - Q and A
9pm - Open play (any performers are welcome to show their skill in hopes of making connections, finding backers or landing deals)
Please note that times may shift slightly as the talk and Q and A sections may not be exactly an hour each.
We are a community based project so we will provide basic sound plug and play set ups.
WE NEED YOU to join in and also join up to assist getting the right people into the event that you think will benefit.
