Minor Majority will yet again visit Gleis 22 in Münster on the 17th of April, 2026.In January 2026, Minor Majority's fourth album - Reasons to Hang Around – will be twenty years, and the band celebrates by embarking on an anniversary tour where they perform the
album in its entirety. The concert will be divided into two parts: First, the band will play the record that is being celebrated, then they will play selected hits from the rest of their career.
"Reasons to Hang Around" received rave reviews when it was released in January 2006. The album debuted at second place on the Norwegian hit list, sold to gold and generated four
major radio hits in the bands native country: "Let The Night Begin", "Come Back to Me","Supergirl" and "Alison".
The opener "Wish You'd Hold That Smile" became a surprise hit on French radio, and in France the album sold as well as it did in Norway. In late autumn, "Reasons..." became a regular on year-end lists in the music press. In the winter of 2007, the
album won Spellemannsprisen (the Norwegian Grammy) in the category "best pop group".
Singer, songwriter and frontman Pål Angelskår says:
"Reasons to Hang Around might be our best collection of songs and without a doubt the most important record in our catalog. If it hadn't been for this one, we would probably have quit a long time ago. We are grateful that our catalogue contains a popular record that can draw both old and new listeners into our universe, and that allows us to continue to travel and play concerts both here at home and in Europe."
