Welcome to the Mini Makers Lab!
Come join us at Plainfield East High School for a hands-on STEAM experience in creativity and innovation. Our event is perfect for elementary students interested in exploring the world of making and tinkering. Let your imagination run wild and bring your ideas to life in our collaborative environment. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to unleash your inner maker!
Campers will rotate through 3 labs: the Science and Exploration Lab, Technology & Engineering Zone, and Art & Math Hub. Students will be split into Kindergarten-2nd and 3rd-5th grade. Labs will be led by PEHS students interested in pursuing careers in education. Camp fees include all materials and a healthy snack.
Families are encouraged to join us for the last 15 minutes of camp to see what the mini makers were up to!
Help support the next generation of educators! All procedes from the event will be used for scholarships for our future educators. In addition to your ticket purchase, families are welcome to donate directly to our Educators Rising Club Scholarship Fund!
