By Audition (Parent meeting 1:45-2:00pm. Ballet barre followed by ballet and contemporary combinations at center) Only: Mini-MAD is for the dancer age 9-11 with dance experience who wants more performance opportunities! Dancers should have a minimum level of Ballet 3 experience. Additional experience in Contemporary, Jazz or Lyrical Dance are also helpful but not required. Auditions as well as a mandatory parent meeting required.Dancers are required to take one Ballet class and one other class of choice (or more!) per week as well as required Saturday Rehearsals. Attendance is key! We ask that dancers attend their weekly classes regularly and miss no more than 2 rehearsals per semester.
Dancers will enjoy learning company pieces that they will perform in the community at various events, as well as at our final performance on stage at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater!
Semester Fee: includes rehearsal time and all company costumes.
