By Audition Only (Ballet barre followed by ballet and contemporary combinations at center). Our Youth Company MAD is open to ages 12 and up by Audition Only. Members must enroll in a minimum of 2 ballet classes and 2 other technique classes (not including pointe, choreography or variations) per week as well as attend the mandatory Company Class before rehearsal on Saturdays.Rehearsals take place on Saturdays. Additional rehearsals may be added depending on casting and upcoming performances. Students will perform in a variety of dance genres depending on their interests, abilities, and casting needs.
Attendance at weekly classes and rehearsals is mandatory and closely monitored. Dancers may only miss a maximum number or 8 weekly classes and 2 warm-up/rehearsal per semester to maintain company status, no exceptions.
Performances consist of our final show at the end of each semester, as well as additional performance opportunities around Bloomington and surrounding communities.
Semester Fee: $250 this covers Saturday Company Class, Rehearsal Time and Costumes. Technique classes are not included in this fee. Check out our Unlimited Class package which includes the company fee as well as unlimited classes. If your child is interested, please email or call!
