Let’s kick off the new year with fresh air, muddy paws, and a bunch of happy humans too!
You (yes, you), your doggo, and your good vibes are invited to our Dog-Friendly Hiking Adventure!
📍 Location: The Spectacles Aboriginal Heritage Trail (dog-friendly, on-lead)
📅 Date: Friday, 24 January
⏰ Meet-up Time: 8:00 AM (to beat the heat!)
🚶♂️ Walk Length: ~5 km loop (easy–moderate)
🎉 Itinerary
8:00 AM — Meet & Sniffs
Gather at the trail entrance carpark.
Humans say hi.
Dogs pretend not to care but secretly love it.
Water bowls out, tails up, sunscreen on!
8:10 AM — Wag & Walk Begins 🥾
We’ll start the loop trail at a chill pace.
Expect: shady bushland, pretty wetlands, bird calls, and random dog zoomies.
Photo ops guaranteed.
8:45 AM — Mid-Walk Sniff Break 🌿
Quick pause for water, treats, human banter, and obligatory group selfie.
Dogs rate the scenery: ★★★★★
9:15 AM — Final Stretch + Adventure Tales
Leisurely walk back to the start as dogs pretend they’re great explorers.
Humans congratulate themselves for exercising before lunchtime.
9:30 AM — Cool Down + Optional Coffee Run ☕️
Wrap up with high-fives, low-fives (paw edition), and maybe head to a nearby café for iced coffee or puppuccinos.
