Mini Explorers: Saturday Family Play Day - 1.5h

A self-directed play session with high quality resources for all children under 5 and their parents/carers.

Come and spend quality Family Playtime and engage with your child/children within a safe environment to support their healthy development.

Entry information:

We now accept both cash and card payments in our premises.

Buggies and prams are NOT allowed into the premises unless they can be transformed into portable cassies. You can leave your buggy under our shed, conveniently placed just before the entrance.

Children under 6 months go in free if sleeping/resting on parent's lap or in a portable cassy.

One Adult goes free with the child and the £3 is payable for second adult.

You may arrive at any time for your session within the timeframe 10am-2pm and let your little one play for 1.5 hour. Please be advised that if you arrive after 12,30pm you will have a shorter time to enjoy the facilities since we do shut at 2pm.

Our building is connected to Cranbrook Primary School. Our entrance is via the parking lot. FREE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE.

No food or drinks are allowed in the session or anywhere else in our play areas. Water is always available in the session.

There is a private Baby Feeding Lounge where you can enjoy a quieter feeding experience with your baby.

About Mini Explorers:

Our activities are for children from the age of 6 months to under 5 years old.

Young children are curious, with growing sense of independence and, of course, full of energy! Our centre is the ideal playground for young minds to challenge themselves; building, exploring, imaginative role-play, gardening, messy play – we have it all in our Toddlers Explorers Zone and Garden areas, which are perfect for children already walking.

Our Sensory Zone is a place of wonder for you to enjoy with your child (from crawling to 18 months); filled with a huge variety of age and stage appropriate materials to stimulate your baby and help them develop the essential skills for later learning.

Please ensure you book the right session for your child and access the appropriate play zone for your child's age; this is for the safety and comfort of other patrons. If you have an older child and a baby, please book the Toddlers Explorers Zone and speak to a member of staff who can provide you with some portable baby-appropriate toys.
