This workshop will be epic and is the first of its kind to be offered in the studio
Christmas is just around the corner and this workshop is a perfect opportunity to not only create some beautiful resin ornaments, but to also get in the spirit of the season.
Each participant is given a choice of 6 mini wood substrates(just a fancy word for the item that you are putting your resin on :) and a very basic lesson on how to mix colours and move the resin to create some amazing patterns. The size of the pieces vary but average 3" - 5" in diameter. There is also some wonderful glitter, gold/silver metallic flakes, snow, etc., for you to use if you want to add a little something extra to your pieces.
Your choice of pattern/substrates are limited to quantities ordered and available at the time of your booking so please be aware of that! There are not unlimited items so it will be first come, first serve according to who books first etc.
Your Creative Coach is here to assist with mixing and application of the resin but due to the size of the class, individual instruction will be very challenging so be prepared to just have some creative fun and let the process happen. I will provide some pre-mixed options of popular resin choices for you to use while you are here in order to save time to play rather than mixing pigments and powders.
A very quick demo by your Creative Coach on how to create the two most asked for techniques: Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights AND the Ocean Surf will be done at the beginning of the class for those who want to use those two techniques.

Minimum age requirement to attend is 14 with an adult.
IMPORTANT: Resin requires a minimum of 12 hours to cure so you won't be able to take your project home with you the same day.
This is not an in-depth resin art teaching workshop - just enough to get you started on these small beauties.
Refreshments such as pop, water, coffee & tea and some pre-packaged chips & chocolate bars are included but feel free to bring your own if you want. Lower level studio location so you must be able to walk up and down a full slight of stairs (with sturdy banister) independently. All supplies are included in the cost of the workshop.
