Mini Champs Family Fest 2025 – Where Families Play, Kids Shine! 📅 Date: Saturday, 22nd November 2025

Get ready for the first-ever Mini Champs Family Fest, a fun-filled athletics and talent celebration designed to bring together children, parents, and teachers for an unforgettable day of play, discovery, and togetherness! 🎉
This exciting event will bring together 400 children aged 4–16 years and over 200 parents and teachers, making it one of the biggest Kids’ Athletics events in Zambia’s history!
🏃♂️ Morning Road Races (06:30hrs – 08:00hrs)
Get your running shoes ready for our age-appropriate Kids’ Road Races, following World Athletics (WA) Kids’ Athletics stages:
4–8 years (Fundamental Stage): 600m Fun Run
9–11 years (Foundation Stage): 1km Run
12–14 years (Transition Stage): 2.5km Run
15–16 years (Development Stage): 4km Run
Track & Field Events (08:30hrs – 12:00hrs)
After the road races, the fun continues on the field with Kids’ Athletics track and field events, designed to build teamwork, skills, and confidence in a safe and inclusive environment.
Talent Identification & Development
The Mini Champs Family Fest will serve as a talent identification event for our upcoming December Kids’ Athletics One-Week Training Camp.
Outstanding young athletes identified during the festival will:
✅ Be selected to participate in the December Training Camp
✅ Be enrolled in the Kids’ Athletics Chikondi Sports Academy 2026 training season.
✅ Gain exposure to structured competitions organized by Lusaka Province Athletics Area Board and Zambia Athletics (ZA)
