What are mindfulness walks?

Our walks combine gentle movement in nature with mindfulness practices designed to clear your mind, reduce stress, and reconnect YOU and the natural world.


During our walks, you'll:

  • Experience guided mindfulness exercises that engage all five senses
  • Learn simple techniques to quiet mental chatter and find clarity
  • Connect with nature in a deeper, more meaningful way
  • Discover how mindful walking can become a powerful self-care practice

What to Expect

  • A leisurely 2-3 mile walk through stunning natural landscapes (no stiles, but possibly some mud after rain)
  • Guided mindfulness practices at scenic stopping points
  • A supportive, judgement-free environment
  • Optional journalling exercises to capture insights and reflections
  • Refreshments and conversation the pub afterwards (optional)

Where: Alsager, meet at The Wilbraham Arms, Sandbach Rd N, Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent ST7 2AX

Anna is the founder of Writing with Purpose, with a Master's in Creative Writing and Wellbeing, training in counselling skills, and specialised certifications in journalling and ecopsychology. With over two decades of experience, Anna is passionate about helping people find clarity, creativity, and purpose through mindful connection with nature.
