Join us for a gentle, slow-paced mindful walk along the Plenty River Trail.
We’ll begin at 9:00am and finish around 10:30am.
I’ll arrive from 8:30am if you’d like to come early, settle in, and have a chat. There will also be space to socialise at the end, and I’ll hang back for a little while after we finish.
We’ll start with a short introduction, giving everyone the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves to the group. From there, we’ll begin walking slowly, mostly in silence, as I gently guide us through grounding into the senses and reconnecting with our bodies and the natural world.
There will be moments of guidance, pauses along the way, and some quiet unguided time. We’ll gather by a sacred tree for a nature-based practice, followed by an opportunity to spend some time alone in reflection before coming back together.
We’ll then share a short reflection circle and a mindful eating practice (please bring a snack if you’d like to participate), before slowly walking back in silence, again with some unguided time.
During the walk, we’ll be mindful of keeping silence so everyone can get the most from the experience.
Across 90 minutes, we’ll walk approximately 1–2km including return, with plenty of opportunities to rest.
The track includes some minor hills and sections where the path is inclined, so please wear comfortable footwear.
At times we will sit on grass or dirt during our pauses. You’re welcome to bring something to sit on if that feels supportive for you.
No mindfulness experience needed — just a willingness to slow down 🌿
Please note there are no toilets at this location. The closest toilets are a 4-minute drive away:
