Mindfulness meditation is a practice that involves focusing your attention on the present moment without judgment. It often begins with focusing on your breath or bodily sensations and then gradually expanding your awareness to include thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise.
The aim of this course is to bring mindfulness into your life as a habit and way of life to bring greater clarity, wellbeing and health into every day, moment to moment.
The course is held on Monday evenings in the Pattern Hall where you will find limited parking on the premises and ample parking in the street outside.
The course is £80 for 6 weeks including guided teaching, course notes and support between session held over the following dates:
May: 13th, 20th and 27th.
June: 10th, 17th and 24th.
No prior experience is required and you are guided through each session by Alex who has taught this course for over 15 years in Cornwall. It is helpful if you can commit to practice the techniques for 10 minutes each day between sessions.
Mindfulness is a way of life and is not only practiced during meditation. Meditation is used for you to experience the art of being mindful, moment to moment in all circumstances.
