Mindfulness In nature:
Learn techniques for deepening the connection with the natural world through the practice of mindfulness. This 2.5 hour workshop will be facilitated by certified mindfulness meditation teacher Phillip McKnight who has been teaching nature based mindfulness practices since 2020. Studies have shown mindfulness practices enhance focus, reduce stress, and provide increased mental clarity. In addition, studies have shown that taking ones mindfulness practice outside to be more advantageous than an indoor practice. This workshop will include an experiential element where participants can practice the skills learned. All are welcome.
