Unlock Creativity with Mindful Journaling
Join us for an inspiring workshop ran by local creatives, blending the art of creative writing with mindful journaling. For anyone looking to connect with their inner voice, express themselves creatively, cultivate mindfulness and dedicate time for personal reflection.
In the cosy setting of the bookshop, surrounded by the words and ideas of great writers, we bring you the Good Life Designed Mindful Journaling workshop, created to share the countless benefits of journaling with everyone - from seasoned writers to beginners. You will be guided through meditations, prompts and reflective journaling exercises for you to engage in ways that inspire you.
Whether you're new to journaling or an avid writer, this workshop creates space for you to explore new ideas of reflecting and connecting with yourself, trusting your own voice, while developing a practice that can bring clarity, calm, confidence and creativity to your life and writing.
No prior writing or journaling experience is needed, and you don’t have to share anything – just bring your favourite notebook and an open mind.
Benefits of journaling:
- Regular journaling reduces stress and declutters the mind.
- Reflective exercises help us gain a deeper understanding of ourselves.
- Goal setting and decluttering prompts help us prioritise tasks and manage time more effectively.
- Journaling encourages learning and personal development
- Encourages creative expression, allowing us to explore thoughts and feelings in a creative, fun, and free manner.
- Great warm-up for writers.
- Writing and reflecting can spark inspiration and provide confidence, renewed motivation and a fresh perspective.
