Take a half day to reconnect with nature, reduce stress, and cultivate inner peace in the beautiful surrounds of JCU Central Plaza.
Guided by an experienced Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and immerse yourself in mindfulness practice.
The program includes body scan, movement meditation, focused attention meditation, sitting meditation, walking meditation, and a mindful BBQ with mindful eating.
Veterans, first responders, health care workers, families, and community members are welcome.
