About this Event
Are you your own toughest critic? Do you often feel like you're not doing enough, or that you're unworthy of kindness and care? It’s time to change that narrative.
Join clinical psychologist Dr. Alexandra Laifer for a 12-week Mindful Self-Compassion course where you will explore the transformative power of Mindful Self-Compassion, a practice that combines the calming benefits of mindfulness with the healing power of self-compassion. Dr. Laifer has over a decade of experience helping clients navigate life’s hardest struggles through presence and positivity.
Over the course of 12 sessions, you’ll learn how to bring kindness, patience, and understanding to yourself—especially during moments of struggle. Through group discussion, guided meditations, and practical exercises, you’ll discover how to:
Cultivate a Compassionate Inner Voice: Shift from self-criticism to self-kindness, embracing imperfections with empathy.
Build Emotional Resilience: Learn how to respond to difficult emotions with openness and care, rather than avoidance or judgment.
Practice Mindfulness: Stay grounded in the present moment, observing thoughts and feelings without getting overwhelmed by them.
Connect with Others: Share experiences in a supportive, non-judgmental space with others who are on the same journey toward self-compassion.
Each class will be held virtually every Thursday from 4 PM to 5:30 PM PST via Doxy.me. The entire course will be offered for $600 ($50 per class).
