Have you ever felt creatively blocked?
In this Mindful Painting Experience you will learn to connect to the natural creativity within you. Starting with guided meditation, sound healing, helping you to get out of your head and into a creative flow state.
Removing any artist blocks and disipating discouraging self talk/thoughts that may appear about bening not creative enough, or not artistic.
Using a outlined canvas you get to create your own magic. You can ask for guidance on painting techniques or do your own thing.
In a comfortable relaxed setting enjoy the fun of playful painting while listening to soul healing music.
This is a evolutionary journey that harmonizes meditation, breath and creativity.
Rekindling your inner creativity and awakening the artist within you.
What to expect:
The 1st hr we begin with guided sessions of meditation, light movement and breathwork including live sound bath with crystal bowls and Sound Pyramid.
Focusing the relaxed energy gained in meditative practice and sound bath we tap into our creativity. The 2nd hour is continued live music and painting.
As hour 3 appears we open the space to continue painting, enjoy fresh fruit and snacks, and relaxing by the pool.
What's Included:
1 base coated canvas with 1 of the multiple pre-outlined designs ( see examples of oultlines in pics below)
Each attendee will be given the choice of three different designs.
The first depicts the Anja Chakra. The Christ consciousness at the point between the eyebrows.
The second is a depiction of the resistant ego giving way to inevitable enlightenment of the Spirit.
The third is a depiction of the hand of the Divine giving life to her creation through the reverberation of the sound of AUM.
Canvases will be base coated and adorned with only lines.
The attendees will be given their choice of pallet colors and
may receive as much or as little instruction as they would like.
Everyone is provided with an easel, brushes and various paint colors.
Ambient live music intertwined with inspirational reading will guide us through the painting process.
What to wear and bring:
Personal drinks & water.
Optional: fruit/snacks to share.
Comfortable clothing ready for painting.
Swim suit, towel, robe if you want to get in the pool
Facilitator Bio
Madhava Das is a devoted Kriyaban Yogi and disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and has been initiated into the practice of Kriya Yoga by the Nayaswamis at Ananda Village. He skillfully integrates the practices of energetic attunement, mantra, japa meditation and visualization to create a sacred space that gently guides us into deep meditation. Since 2018 Madhava Das has been assisting and collaborating with renowned artists contributing to the creation of inspiring murals and art in St Petersburg, Florida.
