About this Event
Join certified guide and licensed K-5 educator, Laura Lenz for a Mindful Nature Walk in Quarry Hill Park. These walks are guided experiences, designed for families, to immerse oneself in nature. This practice encourages participants to slow down, experience nature through the senses, and enjoy the numerous health benefits of the natural world. The calming and restorative effects of connecting with nature can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and boost the immune system.
*This walk is appropriate for families with children in grades Kindergarten and up.
Meet at the Nature Center. Walk covers 0.5 miles but accommodations can be made for mobility limitations.
