Mindful Winter Hikes: Bundle Up and Join Us!
Our Mindful Nature Hikes will continue through the winter months, no matter the weather—whether it’s cold, snowy, or brisk! Unless severe conditions arise, we’ll meet as planned to embrace the beauty of nature in all its forms. Be sure to dress warmly in layers and bring any personal essentials to ensure your comfort. Together, we’ll stay cozy, mindful, and connected to the outdoors, even in the chill of winter.
We’ll start our hike at the "Winton Woods Snack Bar" and take the "Harbor Loop" loop trail plus the "West Loop" trail, covering approximately 2.6 miles. The trail is rated as "easy" and we will walk at a comfortable pace, enjoying conversation while soaking up the beauty of nature. Periodic breaks will be taken along the way.
The Harbor Loop Trail is 1.7 miles around the lake and includes two bridges. The trail also extends under Winton Road to the West Loop Trail, which is an additional .9 miles.
Please meet outside the Winton Woods Snack Bar facing the parking lot, where Jessica be wearing a "Mindful Modern Living" shirt.
Arrive 5-10 minutes early, we will begin walking promptly at 10:00am. This event will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and bring a water bottle!
