About this Event
Join us for an enriching workshop experience where we delve into the art of mindful mending. In an age of fast fashion and disposable goods, it's time to reclaim the value of our possessions and embrace sustainable practices.
During this workshop, participants will learn the invaluable skill of repairing garments and accessories, ranging from beloved sneakers to cherished teddy bears. You'll discover the therapeutic benefits of the repetitive task of sewing, transforming it into a deeply meditative practice that nurtures your well-being.
But Mindful Mending is more than just fixing threads and seams. It's about countering consumerism and fostering an appreciation for the items we own. By extending the lifespan of our possessions through repair, we contribute to a more sustainable future and reduce our environmental footprint.
Gathering to mend, will provide participatnts with the opportunity to meet like minded individuals and strengthen bonds in our community.
