Caroline Dowsett, an artist who works with colour, shapes and forms in a meaningful and mediative style, shall guide you through a mindful art session that will leave you feeling inspired and relaxed.
Maray draws inspiration from the vibrant arrondissement of Le Marais in Paris, serving food and drinks inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors. The menu is a celebration of sustainability and seasonal ingredients. Along with a drinks menu featuring a selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean wines, bold cocktails, local beers, and a variety of non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks.

This event is perfect for those who want to explore their creativity in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, Caroline will provide all the materials and guidance you need to create a beautiful piece of art.

In the session we shall work through 4 creative exercises, to lead us to painting with Acrylic paint on Canvas for our final piece, using still life prompts inspired by Spring + Ingredients from Maray’s Menu.

Run of the session:

• Welcome non alcoholic drink from Maray.
• Settle down at your individual art stations, where you will find your materials.
• A welcome chat from Caroline and her practice, introduction to what we shall be creating and answering any questions you may have about the session.
• We shall go through 4 creative exercises to really allow you to arrive to the session, and let go of the idea of perfectionism and creativity.
• Dessert and hot beverage break at your stations, to help with energy for your masterpiece.
• The painting begins! The final piece, your canvas, which shall be inspired by the tools we have just practiced and the centre piece/alter that shall be on display in the middle of tables involving flora, incense, candles and ceramics.
