About this Event
Come make memories this Memorial Day weekend with new friends, and facilitators robert, win, and brian! On this daylong meditation retreat, we will be journeying into the Buddhist insight of not-self, playing with different ways of clarifying and entering it, and relaxing into its realization.
This retreat is for all levels, from beginners through seasoned meditators.
We will begin at 8:30 AM with light yoga movements to get us grounded in the body and energized, and then we'll have a bit of time to get to know each other before diving into our topic. The retreat will consist of periods of guided, silent, walking, and dialogic meditation; dharma talks; and interactive experiments which guide us back home to our reality, or true nature of not-self.
Lunch will be potluck-style and vegetarian. Please bring a dish to share and label the ingredients for those with food sensitivites.
We will conclude at 5:30 PM after clean-up and open sharing.
Please do let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about this gathering.
Lastly, please register only if you are confident that you can make it, and if plans change, as they obviously and understandably do, we ask that you please cancel your registration so that someone else can join in your place.
Thanks,
robert, win, & brian :)
