Towards Embodied Strategies and Participatory Musicking in Intercultural Settings," taking place on April 29, 2025 in the Gele Zaal at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp (AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts) / deSingel.Throughout this full-day seminar, we will explore the benefits of an embodied approach to musicking in intercultural contexts, where language barriers and limited instrumental skills can sometimes pose challenges for music facilitation. Through engaging in workshops, a keynote lecture, and a panel discussion, we will collectively examine how embodiment can enrich participatory musicking.
