Mind Over Matter Workshop--Council Bluffs

Connections Area Agency on Aging is proud to recognize National Women’s Health Week by announcing the offering of the evidence-based program Mind Over Matter for women in our community. 💜
Mind Over Matter is designed to help women take control of bladder and bowel health through education, support, and practical strategies in a welcoming and confidential environment. This empowering program focuses on improving quality of life, confidence, and overall wellness.
If you have issues with bladder or bowel control, you are not alone. More than half of women aged 50 or older experience urine or bowel leakage sometimes! The Mind Over Matter; Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder workshop is designed to give women the tools they need to take control of their symptoms. Scientific studies show that attending this workshop reduces or even cures symptoms for many women! Even if you don’t have leakage symptoms now, it’s never too early or too late to think about your bladder and bowel health!
Mind Over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder is a 3-session workshop for senior women that includes information, group activities, and simple exercises to do at home.
Classes will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in Council Bluffs at the Board Room at All Care Health Center on:

This program is open to women interested in learning effective techniques to support healthy aging and wellness. There is no hard charge, but donations are gladly accepted.
