Mind Health - Real Chat with Teens
Join us in person and online for a down-to-earth conversation all about mental health with teens! This is your chance to talk openly, share experiences, and get real advice in a chill setting. In today’s world, teens face increasing pressure from school, social media, and peer influences. This session is designed to create a safe and supportive space where they can better understand their thoughts, emotions, and mental well-being.
We will also have guided conversations on healthy coping strategies and the importance of making wise choices, including staying away from harmful substances.
Our goal is to empower teens with the tools, confidence, and support they need to build a strong, healthy mind and make positive life choices.
No judgments, just honest chats to help you understand and support your mind better. Don't miss out on connecting with others who get it!
Session Objectives-
By the end of this session, teens will:
- Understand what mental (mind) health means.
- Recognize how thoughts, emotions, and experiences affect their well-being.
- Identify common challenges teens face (stress, Academic pressure, social media, comparison, friendships & peer pressure, anxiety, depression, Identity and self-esteem)
- Understand common harmful substances and the risk on their mental health(alcohol, vaping, drugs, other examples).
- Learn healthy coping strategies.
- Build awareness of their self-worth and identity. Building a strong&healthy mind.
- Feel safe to express themselves and seek support.
