Attention painters—whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or you’ve mastered every blend and glaze—your moment has arrived!The Dark Side Comics & Games is hosting a Painting Competition, and we want to see what you can bring to the table. From now till the contest submission date (may 23rd) we will also be offering a 5% discount on all Manument Hobbies products purchased while you are participating in our Tuesday Painting Nights! So come hang out and paint with friends for free and receive a discount just for doing it together!
Entry Drop-Off: May 23rd-30th
Entry Fee: $10
*Entry Requirements*
• Models must be on bases 25mm–50mm in size.
• Entries may contain multiple models—up to five total, or up to three if all are on 50mm bases.
• All entries will be displayed in-store for one week, where customers can vote for their favorite piece.
*Judging & Awards*
On May 31st, our judges will announce the Top 3 Winners along with the Customer Pick.
Judging will be based on:
• Technique
• Basing
• Modeling
• Use of Color
*Prizes*
• 1st Place (Judges’ Pick): Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl Base Set
• 2nd & 3rd Place: Prizes based on participation
• Customers Pick: Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl Intro Set
Winners may choose to have their models displayed in the store following the competition.
