About this Event
Celebrate and Document Milwaukee's 55th Juneteenth
We're back with another year at one of the oldest and largest Juneteenth celebrations in the United States. We invite creatives to join our Annual Juneteenth Photowalk on Friday, June 19, 2026. This photowalk offers a unique opportunity to visually archive that legacy through your lens.
This experience is open to photographers of all levels who want to capture the spirit of Milwaukee’s Historic Juneteenth celebration while connecting with fellow visual storytellers. Northcott Neighborhood House has extended Juneteenth celebrations to the Henry Maier Festival Park. 10 photographers will have the opportunity to capture Juneteenth at one of the largest music festivals in the country, Summerfest on Thursday, June 18th! Selected participants will receive media pass access for gear to document the Summerfest Opening Ceremony at the Aurora Pavilion, and the festival grounds afterwards.
